Convenient and good for longer stay.
This was our third stay at this property as it is well located and has a lot of in-room facilities such as kitchenette, ironing boards, spaces to sit and eat and good cupboard space which was important for us as we were in Japan for a month and Kyoto for five nights. There is a supermarket up the road and it is very close to a subway stop. It was clean and comfortable.
However, we were surprised on this trip at the general wear and tear on the room. We first stayed here in 2012 and we don't think anything has been updated since then. We have stayed in many Citadines properties across the world. The television was very old and did not have English channels (surprising as it did previously and for a global brand) nor could support a USB. Some of the furniture and carpet were showing their age and use. There are now other chains such as Tokyu Stay that offer most of these features that were more up to date. All that said we enjoyed our stay here and the staff were very helpful.

Great stay in Kyoto
Great location & comfortable studio apartment for 7 nights. The staff are extremely helpful. It's a one minute walk to the local subway with easy access 1 stop to Kyoto station or walk 15 minutes. Central & easy to find from Kyoto station. Good base for longer stays.

Overall very happy, would definitely stay again.
Great room size and amenities. Cleanliness in room and hotel was good. Location was easy to access via train and short walk to main shopping areas. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The vent/fan in the bathroom had quite a bit of dust buildup- some was falling out during shower and one of the mattresses in the room needs replacing. These were small annoyances though, nothing too bad. Room and bathroom were very clean.
